Information about the Inquiry
On 23 June 2011 the Senate referred the following matter to the Senate Finance and Public Administration Committees for inquiry and report.
Inquiry into the performance of the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS)
The Committee has agreed to delay consideration of the matters before it until it has received and considered the report of the audit undertaken by PricewaterhouseCoopers in relation to the disposal of two billiard tables which is expected to be completed by late July.

The Committee is still accepting submissions with reference to the original Terms of Reference or in relation to matters raised in the Interim Report dated 27 June 2012.
Please note that the Committee is also receiving confidential submissions.
Submissions should be received by 31 August 2011. The reporting date is 29 November 2011. On 27 June 2012,the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 28 November 2012.
The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted online or sent by email to fpa.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
