Information about the Inquiry
On Wednesday 18 June 2008 the Senate adopted report No. 5 from its
Selection of Bills Committee which recommended that the Families, Housing,
Community Services and Indigenous Affairs and Other Legislation Amendment
(2008 Budget and Other Measures) Bill 2008 be referred to the Finance and
Public Administration Committee for inquiry and report by Tuesday 24 June
2008.
See Appendix 1 to the report for further
details of the committee's recommendations.
Written submissions are invited and should be received by midday on
Thursday 19 June 2008.
The Committee requests that where possible, that submissions be
provided by email to

as MS Word or RTF format documents.
