- On 24 June 2010 the Senate referred the provisions of the Education Services for Overseas Students Legislation Amendment Bill 2010 to the Education, Employment and Workplace Relations Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 24 August 2010.
- Due to the Federal election being held on 21 August, the committee will not be able to provide its final report to the Senate by 24 August 2010. Instead, the committee intends to report as soon as practicable after this date.
