Information about the inquiry
The Senate has referred the Workplace Relations
(Restoring Family Work Balance) Amendment Bill 2007 to the
Senate Standing Committee on Employment,
Workplace Relations and Education for report by 14 June 2007.
The Restoring Family Work
Balance Amendment Bill aims to return and protect conditions related to
public holidays, meal breaks, penalty rates, overtime and access to
redundancy benefits.
Submissions
are due by 4 June 2007 and can be emailed to
