Student income support inquiry
Information about the inquiry
The committee met on 2 December 2004 and considered
references not disposed of at the end of the 40th parliament.
The committee agreed to recommend to the
Senate that an inquiry into student income support be re-adopted with
terms of reference unchanged, with a reporting date of 16 June 2005.
The committee will consider all submissions and may
invite individuals and organisations to give evidence at public hearings.
It is expected that public hearings will be held in Melbourne, Adelaide
and Ballarat the week commencing 26 April 2005. Details and times will be
posted closer to the time.
