On 10 February 2011 the Senate referred the impacts of supermarket price decisions on the dairy industry to the Senate Economics Committees for inquiry and report.
The Committee recognises that there have been a number of Senate inquiries into various aspects of the dairy industry recently. The Committee will take into account the submissions received by these inquiries, although it welcomes any additional or updated information from previous submitters.
Submissions should be received by
31 August 2011. The initial reporting date was 15 April 2011. On 22 September 2011, the Senate granted an extension of time for reporting until 1 November 2011. On 1 November 2011, the Senate granted a further extension of time for reporting until
3 November 2011.
The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations
preferably in electronic form submitted online or sent by email to
economics.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
