Inquiry into the Qantas Sale (Keep Jetstar Australian) Amendment Bill 2007

On 1 March 2007, the Senate referred the Qantas Sale (Keep Jetstar Australian) Amendment Bill 2007 to the Standing Committee on Economics, for inquiry and report by 20 March.

This is a private Senators' bill put forward by Senator Steve Fielding (Senator for Victoria, Family First Party.)

If passed, the bill would require Qantas to ensure that:

The bill would also prohibit Qantas and associated entities from seeking to avoid these requirements.
