NATIONAL FARMERS FEDERATION TO COMMENT ON WATER MANAGEMENT ISSUES
The House of Representatives Environment and Heritage committee will
hold a public hearing for its inquiry into catchment management this Wednesday,
5 April, in Canberra.
The National Farmers' Federation will be giving evidence at the hearing.
The catchment management inquiry is looking at the administration of
water resource and river health programs, best practice methods of achieving
catchment health and environmental sustainability, and the role of governments,
the private sector and the community in catchment management.
The public hearing will commence at 11.10 a.m., in Committee
Room 1R3, Parliament House, Canberra. More details of the hearing
