On Wednesday, 30 November 2016, the Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, The Hon Darren Chester MP, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on the social issues relating to land-based driverless vehicles in Australia. The Committee invites interested persons and organisations to make submissions addressing the terms of reference by Monday, 6 February 2017.
