Inquiry into flying-fox management in the eastern states

Following a referral on 4 November 2016 from the Minister for the Environment and Energy, the Hon. Josh Frydenberg MP, the Committee will conduct a short inquiry into and report on the management of nationally protected flying-foxes in the eastern states of Australia.

The Committee will conduct one roundtable public hearing to gather evidence from experts, government bodies and non-government organisations. The Committee is accepting written submissions, addressing one or more of the terms of reference, to be received by Friday, 18 November 2016.
