Summary

Introduced with the Commonwealth Radioactive Waste Management Bill 2005, the bill amends the: Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act 1977 to add a declaration under section 7 (selection of site of radioactive waste management facility) of the proposed Commonwealth Radioactive Waste Management Act 2005 to the classes of decisions that are not decisions to which the Act applies; and Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Act 1998 to provide for an additional position, nominated by the Chief Minister of the Northern Territory, on the Radiation Health and Safety Advisory Council.
