Introduced with the Customs Tariff Amendment Bill (No. 1) 2003, the bill amends the Customs Act 1901 to introduce rules for determining whether goods originate in Least Developed Countries, East Timor (a developing country) or Singapore (for the purposes of a free trade agreement), which will enable such goods to have duty-free access to Australia.
