Summary

Amends the: Customs Act 1901 to: introduce new provisions for determining the normal value of goods in countries with an economy in transition; ensure that anti-dumping legislation is consistent with the WTO Agreement on the Implementation of Article VI of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994; make consequential amendments in relation to commencement of the monitoring powers and infringement notice scheme; and make minor technical amendments and corrections; and Passenger Movement Charge Collection Act 1978 to exempt air security officers (who provide security for civilian aircraft) from the passenger movement charge.
