Summary
Amends the: Export Control Act 1982 to: insert a definition for “fish”; extend the definitions of “preparation” and “premises”; create four new offences in relation to the preparation of goods for export; extend the services for which fees may be charged to services provided by the Secretary or the Secretary’s delegate; and clarify the use of certain terms; and Quarantine Act 1908 to provide a legal basis for the recovery of fees for quarantine services provided by the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service to other Commonwealth bodies.
