    to: extend, until 30 June 2006, the existing arrangements for approving pharmacists to supply medicines subsidised under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme; clarify that dependants of contributors to a health benefits fund with appropriate cover, as well as the contributors, are covered by the fund;
    Health Insurance Act 1973
    to: clarify the scope of the power to make Medicare Tables; and enable the Minister to make legislative instruments determining that Medicare benefits are not payable for professional services in specified circumstances; and
    Medical Indemnity Act 2002
    to replace references to the Health Insurance Commission with references to the Chief Executive Officer of Medicare Australia.
