Summary
Amends the:
Bankruptcy Act 1966
and
Payment Systems and Netting Act 1998
to provide for the recovery of superannuation contributions made with the intention to defeat creditors; and
Bankruptcy Act 1966
and
Proceeds of Crime Act 2002
to: provide for certain rural support grants to be exempt from the property available to pay the bankrupt’s creditors; and make minor technical amendments in relation to the operation of the Act.
