Summary

Amends the:

Social Security Act 1991
to: increase the maximum single rates of newstart allowance, youth allowance (away from home rates only), austudy, sickness allowance, special benefit, widow allowance and crisis payment by $150 a fortnight; standardise the indexation arrangements for certain pensions and allowances; and make amendments contingent on the commencement of the
Social Services Legislation Amendment (Welfare Reform) Act 2018
; and
Social Security (Administration) Act 1999
to provide that these payments are made from monies appropriated by the Parliament.
