Summary

Amends the

Higher Education Support Act 2003
to: allow the minister to make grants to support arrangements to increase industry-led study and postgraduate research and to assist higher education providers to undertake research (the Australia's Economic Accelerator (AEA) program) which progresses the development of technologies and services to a state of commercial investor readiness in sectors aligned with areas of national priority; establish a governance framework to support the delivery of the AEA program; and provide for the protection, disclosure and use of AEA program information.
