Summary

The bill: amends the

Freedom of Information Act 1982
,
National Film and Sound Archive Act 2008
and
Screen Australia and the National Film and Sound Archive (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2008
to enable the name change of the National Film and Sound Archive to the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSAA); and transfers part of Screen Australia’s film library and associated assets and liabilities to the NFSAA; and provides for the transfer of certain Screen Australia staff to the NFSAA.
