Summary

Establishes the Parliamentary (Judicial Misbehaviour or Incapacity) Commission to inquire into, and advise the Parliament on, allegations of judicial misbehaviour or incapacity made against a federal justice. Also amends the

Parliamentary Privileges Act 1987
to permit the testing of a witness’ creditibility in court or other proceedings when that witness has previously given evidence to a House or committee of the Parliament which is inconsistent with the evidence given to the court or tribunal.
