Summary

Amends the:

Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority Act 2006
and
Australian Sports Commission Act 1989
to: create the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) to replace the office of ASADA Chair; establish an Advisory Group to provide advice to the ASADA CEO on sports doping matters; establish an Anti-Doping Rule Violation Panel (ADRVP) to replace the Anti-Doping Rule Violation Committee; and
Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority Act 2006
to: maintain consistency with the World Anti-Doping Code; and make transitional arrangements to enable ASADA and ADRVP to carry out their functions under the National Anti-Doping Scheme.
