Summary
Establishes Safe Work Australia (SWA) as a statutory body, with power to make recommendations directly to the Workplace Relations Ministers’ Council in relation to occupational health and safety outcomes and workers’ compensation arrangements. SWA will replace the Australian Safety and Compensation Council.
