Summary

Amends the

Income Tax Assessment Act 1997
,
Social Security Act 1991
and
Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986
to provide $2,000 over two years to Australian apprentices under the age of 30 who are undertaking an Australian apprenticeship in a trade occupation identified as experiencing national skills shortages; and to exempt the payment from assessment as income.
