Amends the

Health Insurance Act 1973
,
Medicare Australia Act 1973
and
Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986
to replace and strengthen existing prohibitions on inducements and payment of benefits by providers of Medicare funded pathology and diagnostic imaging services to requesters of such services.
