Summary

Amends the

Australian Citizenship Act 2007
to require applicants for Australian citizenship by conferral to successfully complete a citizenship test, before making an application, in order to be eligible to become an Australian citizen.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
