Summary

Amends the

Migration Act 1958
to create a new maritime crew visa to replace special purpose and other visas currently granted to foreign crew of non-miliary ships and ships being imported into Australia, foreign supernumerary crew and spouses and dependent children accompanying such crew.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
