Summary
Amends the:
Higher Education Funding Act 1988
in relation to: transition funding for 2007; and repeal of the Higher Education (HECS) Account;
Higher Education Support Act 2003
in relation to: funding and grant levels for certain purposes; increases to FEE-HELP limits; extending summer school provisions to winter schools; setting student contribution amounts and tuition fees; rounding calculations of HELP debts; electronic communications; and regulation of higher education in external territories; and
Australian Research Council Act 2001
to reflect updated annual caps on funding.
