Summary

Amends the

Customs Tariff Act 1995
to: insert an upper limit of 22 per cent alcohol content in respect of grape wine; ensure that certain wine-based cream beverages are subject to the Wine Equalisation Tax and the applicable rates of customs duty; and remove the 3 per cent customs duty that applies to ‘business inputs’ that are subject to a Tariff Concession Order.
