Summary

Introduced with the Superannuation Bill 2005, the bill amends 8 Acts and the Trust Deed of the Public Sector Superannuation Scheme as a consequence of the establishment of the Public Sector Superannuation Accumulation Plan (PSSAP) as a separate superannuation scheme. Also amends the

Superannuation Act 1990
to close the Public Sector Superannuation Scheme to most new employees and officeholders following the commencement of the PSSAP.
