Summary

Part of a package of three bills to establish a new framework for the operation of Australia’s passport system, the bill imposes, as taxes, application fees in relation to passports and other travel-related documents.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
