Summary

Introduced with the ACIS Administration Amendment Bill 2003, the bill amends the

Customs Tariff Act 1995
to reduce customs duty rates for new and used passenger motor vehicles and certain components from 10 per cent to 5 per cent, from 1 January 2010.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
