Summary

Introduced with the Transport Safety Investigation (Consequential Amendments) Bill 2002, the bill deals with aviation, marine and rail transport safety and provides for: reporting of transport safety matters; conduct of safety investigations by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau; making of safety action statements; and publication of investigation results. Also contains regulation-making provisions.
