Summary

Amends the

Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986
to extend eligibility for full repatriation health care (that is, the Gold Card) to Australian veterans who are aged 70 or over and who have post-World War 2 qualifying service.

We acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of country throughout Australia and acknowledge their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to the people, the cultures and the elders past, present and emerging.
