Request for Tender DHR 01/2015—Provision of Internal Audit Services

Overview

The Department of the House of Representatives (DHR) is seeking Tenders for the provision of internal audit services.

The DHR requires a Consultant with extensive experience in performing financial, information technology, compliance and performance audits in the public sector, to develop and implement the DHR internal audit program in line with current best practice requirements.

The principal requirement of the Consultant will be to conduct high quality audits, and to provide professional advice on an as required basis, as directed by the DHR Audit Committee or the Clerk of the House.

The DHR is seeking to enter into a three (3) year contract with the successful tenderer from April 2015, with the option to extend for a further two (2), single year periods at the discretion of DHR.

The closing date and time for Tender submissions is 3.00 PM (Canberra Local Time) on Friday, 27 March 2015.

A Tenderer may, at any time before the closing date, give notice to the DHR Contact Person specifying:

a) that it intends to submit a Tender; and

(b) its contact details for the purposes of this Tender.

DHR will include the name of that Tenderer and its contact details in a register of Tenderers.
