Inquiry into approval processes for new drugs and novel medical technologies in Australia

Following a referral on 13 August 2020 from the Minister for Health, The Hon Greg Hunt MP, the Committee will inquire into and report on approval processes for new drugs and novel medical technologies in Australia.

Submissions for this inquiry officially closed on Thursday 17 June 2021.

The Chair of the Committee, Mr Trent Zimmerman MP, intends to table the report in Parliament on Thursday, 25 November 2021, between 10am - 11am. The link to the report will be available on the Committee's homepage listed under "Completed inquiries by this committee".
