Update: Building operations at Parliament House from 19 February

Parliament House will re-open to visitors from Saturday 19 February 2022.

With the ACT Government today announcing further easing of COVID-19 restrictions, please note the following building settings will apply to align with the applicable changes.

These settings will be monitored and reviewed prior to the next sitting period.

The arrangements effective from 19 February:

  • Parliament House will be open to the public
  • Parliament shop will be open
  • Inside and outside events will be permissible
  • Sponsored passholder restrictions are lifted and all visitors allowed in to conduct their business
  • Face masks will continue to remain mandatory indoors, especially when in or travelling through communal areas of the building, until any further changes to ACT requirements
  • Staff can work from the building where it suits employers and employees, and in accordance with ACT Health advice.

APH operations

  • All density limits will be removed
  • Tables and chairs will return to catering outlets
  • Queen’s Terrace CafĂ© will re-open
  • Members and Guests Dining will re-open
  • Keep cups accepted
  • All DPS operated food outlets will remain cashless
  • There will be no restrictions on numbers at Health and Recreation Centre, courts and playing fields.

Important safeguards

All building occupants:

  • must not attend the building if you are feeling unwell
  • must continue to follow strict COVID-safe hygiene and physical distancing requirements
  • must use the masks and sanitiser that are available throughout the building
  • must check-in using the Check in CBR app when visiting the Childcare Centre.
