Saving Australian Dairy Bill 2019

On 5 December 2019, the Senate referred the Saving Australian Dairy Bill 2019 to the Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry and report by 20 March 2020.

Submissions closed on 14 February 2020.

In light of the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and consequent health risks, all previously scheduled face-to-face public hearings of the Senate Standing Committees on Economics have been postponed until further notice. However, the committee is examining the potential of conducting some hearings via teleconference and will be in contact with relevant stakeholders.
