The attached submission has been prepared after the due date of submission because the National Council of Single Mothers and their Children was not advised of the existence of the inquiry until Thursday April 4. The Executive Officer, Ms Kay Buckley, has already expressed that this is not an acceptable process of genuine consultation, as it leaves no time for a properly prepared response.

 

Ms Buckley has asked me to prepare NCSMC's response to the call for submissions.   I have emailed a version to you attached to this email and a signed hardcopy will follow by post this week.
