Subject: URANIUM MINING - SENATE INQUIRY

Dear Senators,

Uranium mining is unsafe to humans, damaging to the environment, and apparently economically unsustainable until improved methods for disposing of waste can be developed. 

I request that, unless/until uranium mining in this country is stopped, you ensure that we have comprehensive and transparent monitoring, regulation and reporting of uranium mining activities.
