Getting to and from the House

Additional measures to enhance the security arrangements for the building, its occupants and visitors, have been implemented at Parliament House.
Relatively free access to the building is maintained and the ability of the public to visit and to view the proceedings of Parliament is not restricted.

The security measures provide for:

access to the public carpark via Federation Mall from Old Parliament House
access to the roof via the lift from inside the building
conversion of Parliament Drive to a one way road - from 22 August 2006
