Pursuant to Senate standing order 38(7), I present to you an interim report of the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade References Committee in relation to the committee's inquiry into the operations of Defence Housing Australia.

The committee requests an extension of time to report to 22 June 2016 to allow it to consider the evidence received, schedule an additional hearing and conclude its deliberations.
