Glencore’s proposed carbon capture and storage project

Progress report

On 25 March 2024, the Senate referred the inquiry into the Glencore’s proposed carbon capture and storage project to the Environment and Communications References Committee for inquiry and report by 1 May 2024.

The committee requests an extension of time to report until 2 July 2024 to allow it to consider the evidence received and to conclude its deliberations.
