Inquiry into educational opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students

On Wednesday 16 September the Minister for Indigenous Affairs, Senator the Hon Nigel Scullion, asked the Committee to inquire into and report on Educational opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

The Committee created an online questionnaire for students, educators, families and communities to be able to tell the Committee about what they think is working well, what has failed, and what can be done to improve educational opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

On 4 May 2016 the Committee tabled its interim report.

What works? What's important? What can we do better?
