Organisational structure at 30 June 2016

The most senior position in the department is the Clerk of the House (David Elder). The second most senior is the Deputy Clerk (Claressa Surtees). Below these two positions, there are three branches. One is led by the Clerk Assistant (Table) (Catherine Cornish), who is responsible for the Table Office, Chamber Research Office, International and Parliamentary Relations Office and Parliamentary Skills Centre. Another is led by the Clerk Assistant (Committees) (Robyn McClelland), who is responsible for the Committee Office. Another is led by the Serjeant-at-Arms (James Catchpole), who is responsible for the Serjeant-at-Arms’ Office, the People Strategies Office, the Finance Office and the Parliamentary and Business Information Services Office.
