The most senior position in the organisation is Clerk of the House (David Elder). The second most senior is Deputy Clerk of the House (Claressa Surtees) who is also responsible for the International and Parliamentary Relations Office. Below these two positions, there are three branches. One is led by the Clerk Assistant (Table) (Catherine Cornish), who is responsible for the Table Office and the Chamber Research Office. Another is led by the Clerk Assistant (Committees) (Robyn McClelland), who is responsible for the Committee Office. Another is led by the Serjeant-at-Arms (Bronwyn Notzon), who is responsible for the Serjeant-at Arms’ Office, the People Strategies Office, the Finance Office and the Parliamentary and Business Information Services Office.
