Although a survey of members satisfaction was not undertaken during the year, the Committee Office used ongoing qualitative mechanisms to assess the inquiry facilitation services provided to committees. Both the Clerk and the Clerk Assistant (Committees) initiated contact with committee chairs, deputy chairs and committee members generally in order to gauge levels of satisfaction. Feedback from those mechanisms indicated continued high levels of satisfaction. Another source of feedback for committee staff is speeches made in the House at the time committee reports are tabled. The following are examples of comments made by members when reports were tabled during the year. I would like to thank the committee secretariat. It has been fantastic.
