Chapter 6 - Journals and records of the senate
43 Publication of Journals and records
(1) All proceedings of the Senate shall
be recorded by the Clerk in the Journals of the Senate, shall be signed by the
Clerk and, except in so far as they relate to a meeting of the Senate in
private session, be published.
(2) Business before the Senate shall be
placed on the Notice Paper in accordance with the standing orders, and the
Notice Paper shall be published.
(3) Publication of the record of debate
in the Senate, known as Parliamentary Debates and Hansard, is authorised by
this standing order.

44 Custody of records
The custody of the Journals, records and all
documents laid before the Senate shall be in the Clerk, and they shall not be
taken from the chamber or Senate offices without the permission of the Senate.
