Information about the Inquiry

On 24 June 2010 the Senate referred the following matter to the Senate Finance and Public Administration Committee for inquiry and report.

The Ahead of the Game Blueprint for the Reform of Australian Government Administration issued by the Advisory Group on Reform of Australian Government Administration in March 2010 and, in particular:
    (a)        the implementation of recommendations contained in the review, including means
                   and costs of implementation;
   (b)        possible amendments to the Public Service Act 1999;
   (c)        identification and consideration of related matters not covered by the review; and
   (d)      any other related matter

* This inquiry lapsed prior to the commencement of the new Parliament. The Committee has deferred consideration of the re-adoption of this inquiry in the 43rd Parliament.

Submissions should be received by 28 July 2010. The reporting date is 26 August 2010.

The Committee is seeking written submissions from interested individuals and organisations preferably in electronic form submitted online or sent by email to fpa.sen@aph.gov.au as an attached Adobe PDF or MS Word format document. The email must include full postal address and contact details.
