The Committee has met and considered the references not disposed of at the end of the 42nd Parliament and resolved to recommend to the Senate:
That the following inquiry of the 42nd Parliament be re-adopted with terms of reference unchanged and with a reporting date of 1 July 2011:
- Inquiry into the Exposure Drafts of Australian Privacy Amendment Legislation.
That, in respect of the matter to be referred to the Committee, it have power to consider and use the records of the Finance and Public Administration Legislation Committee appointed in the previous Parliament.
