1. Introduction

1.1
The following projects were referred to the Public Works Committee (PWC) of the 45th Parliament in the second half of 2018:
Point Wilson Waterside Infrastructure Remediation, Point Wilson, Victoria – 18 June 2018
Australian Taxation Office Proposed fit-out of Leased Premises in Moonee Ponds, Victoria – 25 October 2018.

The Committee had completed the inquiry processes and adopted the report but did not table a report prior to the dissolution of the Parliament. The referrals therefore lapsed.
1.3
The Point Wilson and ATO Moonee Ponds projects were referred to the PWC of the 46th Parliament on 31 July 2019. The Committee decided not to repeat the inquiry process as it was advised by both proponent entities that there had been no significant changes to the work since the original referral. Evidence taken on both these inquiries is available on the Committee’s website.

The Committee has resolved to adopt the report as adopted by the PWC of the 45th Parliament without amendment. The following chapters are the report as adopted by the PWC of the 45th Parliament. Therefore any references to ‘the Committee’ in Chapters 2 to 4 refer to the PWC of the 45th Parliament.
